AY-type oil pump is reconstructed on the bases of old Y-type oil pump. It is new product which is to meet modern construction and to adapt to the updating of energy-saving centered equipment.

Characteristics:

1.  Its bearing body uses 45, 55, 70 bearing body instead of 35, 50, 60 bearing body, which is more reliable;

2.  Water power over-current post adopts water-power model of high-efficient energy-saving pump; its efficiency is 58 higher than that of old Y-type oil pump;

3.  AY-type oil pump has same structural model, installation size and scope of performance parameter with old Y-type oil pump, which is good for the reconstruction of old device.

4.  Its parts are universal highly. Its universal standard parts are shared by several series;

5.  Its main body adopts type materials and its bearing body, etc include two materials: cast steel and cast iron, which provide good conditions for its use in cold areas, opening condition and boat.

6. According to pumps different use temperatures,  its bearing includes: air cooling, fan cooling and water cooling. Fan cooling is applied to the areas where it is lack of water or has poor water quality.

Structure:

AY-type oil pump has six models: single-stage single-suction cantilever type, double-stage single-suction cantilever type, single-stage double-suction cantilever type, single-stage double-suction double-support type, double-stage double-suction double-support type and double-stage single-suction double-support type. Structural models: (fig. 1fig. 6)

Its shell is radially split type. It is suitable to the conveying of high-temperature, high-pressure, flammable, explosive, noxious liquid. Its installation type is horizontal centerline support. Its inlet and outlet flanges are installed on its pump body, vertical and upward. Shaft seal (stuffing box) is combined pump cover, and includes two seals: stuffing seal and mechanical seal (balancing type, bellow type and tandem type). There are alternative water channel jackets outside shaft seal. Equipment of water channel has special requirement or it is used when its medium is water temperature above 66 and hydrocarbon temperature over 150.

The impeller is mono-block cast and static balancing. Its axial force is balanced by impellers balancing hole.

Its bearing body has a set of radial ball bearing and back-to-back ball thrust bearing. Its bearing adopts oil slinger oil lubricating system. There is radiator outside bearing body, which may adopt air cooling (T120),fan cooling (T=120260) and  water cooling (T260-42).

In order that it can dismantle rhachis, shaft, bearing and shaft seal, etc. with no need of dismantling suction or discharging pipe when repairing the pump, AY-type oil pump uses flexible membrane type lengthened coupling
